Eşim kanser hastasıydı, PET çekilmek için Eczacıbaşı-Monrol olarak bizim ürettiğimiz ilaçları verdiler. Eşime içeride çekim yapılırken, kapının önünde binbir umutla bekleyen insanları gördüm. O zaman kendi kendime, “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dedim. Eğer burada çalışmasam, eşime ve kanser hastası diğer hastalara yardımcı olamazdım ve belki de bizim gibi sevinçli haber almalarına vesile olamazdım.
My wife was a cancer patient; they gave us the drugs we produced as Eczacıbaşı-Monrol for PET extraction. While my wife was being scanned, I saw people waiting in front of the door with a lot of hope. Then I said to myself, “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.” If I had not worked here, I could not help my wife nor other cancer patients, and I would not be able to help people receive joyful news as we did.

We see value within the Eczacıbaşı Family and work together in shared fields. The sense of success and confidence it gives us also makes us very happy as individuals. Herkes gibi benim de birçok “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dediğim anım var ama en öne çıkanı, kuruluşumuzun sanata verdiği önemi her alanda ortaya koymasının bir sonucudur. Bundan üç yıl önce, Bozüyük kampüsümüzde çalışanların katılımıyla “Rötuş” adında bir müzik grubu kurduk ve kuruluşumuz sonrasında gerek stüdyo çalışmalarımızda gerekse konser vermek istediğimizde Topluluğumuz bize destek oldu. Harika bir Eczacıbaşılı kalabalığının karşısında sahne almak, birlikte şarkılar söyleyip eğlenmek paha biçilemez bir anıydı. Pandemi sebebiyle konserlere ara vermek zorunda kalsak da yakında yine buluşacağımızdan ve tekrar en yüksek sesle “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” diyeceğimizden eminim...
I also have many memories of moments when I said, “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group!” but the one that jumps out to me now is a result of our institution’s presenting the value they give to art at every opportunity. Three years ago, we founded a music group called “Rötuş” with the participation of the employees on our Bozüyük campus, and our Group supported us after our founding, both in our studio work and when we wanted to give a concert. Performing in front of a wonderful Eczacıbaşı crowd, singing songs, and having fun together was an invaluable memory. Even though we had to take a break from giving concerts due to the pandemic, I am sure that we will meet again soon and say, “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group!”

Türkiye’nin en uzun soluklu sosyal sorumluluk projelerinden biri olan Eczacıbaşı Hijyen Projesi kapsamında, Amasya-Taşova’daki bir yatılı ilköğretim bölge ilkokulunun tuvaletlerini yenileyip, Eczacıbaşı Gönüllüleri olarak oradaki çocuklar için bir müzik odası yaptırdığımızda ve onların suratındaki mutluluğu gördüğümde, “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dedim.
As part of the Eczacıbaşı Hygiene Project, one of Turkey's longest-running social responsibility projects, we renovated the toilets of a regional primary boarding school in Amasya-Taşova and had a music room built for the children there as Eczacıbaşı Volunteers. When I saw the happiness on their faces, I said “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

2004 yılında, yoğun çalışmalarla geçen yeni yapılanma döneminden sonra, ne zamandır aklımda olan, çocukluğumun bir kısmını geçirdiğim Almanya’nın tarihi ve turistik şehri Würzburg’a giderek kendimi ödüllendirmeye karar vermiştim. Oradaki dostlarımızdan davetiye temin ettikten sonra diğer evraklarla beraber hiçbir endişe taşımaksızın Almanya Konsolosluğu’nun yolunu tuttum. İşler bir turizm acentesindeymiş gibi rahat ilerleyecek zannederken bazı zorluklarla karşılaştım ve sonradan öğrendim ki, o dönemde vize almak hiç de kolay bir iş değilmiş. Artık soğuk terler akıtmaya başlamıştım ki, konsolosluk görevlisinin şu sözleriyle kanatlanıp Almanya’ya uçtum ve “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dedim: “Eczacıbaşı Topluluğu’nda çalışıyormuşsunuz, getirdiğiniz evrakların doğruluğuna inanıyoruz.”
In 2004, after a period of intense work and restructuring, I decided to realize a trip that I had been thinking about for a while, rewarding myself by going to Würzburg, the historical and touristic city of Germany, where I had spent some of my childhood. After receiving an invitation from our friends there, I went to the German Consulate with all my documents, not having any concerns. While I thought things would go smoothly as in a tourism agency, I encountered some difficulties and later learned that getting a visa was not an easy task at that time. As I started to break out in cold sweat, I received my wings and flew to Germany with the words of the consular officer, “You’re working for the Eczacıbaşı Group, we believe in the truthfulness of your documents,” which made me say “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

I have been working for 27 years at the Eczacıbaşı Group; our management approach is based on respect for people. Eczacıbaşı has been able to enter every person's home in Turkey, and we are the pioneer of quality, modern, and healthy life; every moment that I worked here was full of labor and energy. It is my greatest pride to contribute to every step of the Eczacıbaşı Group's journey into becoming a global brand.
In terms of my career, one of the most significant advantages of being in the Eczacıbaşı Group is that I have experienced the opportunity to work in different departments and have been allowed to make these transitions. The best part of working here is a transparent working environment where our managers and colleagues give importance to our thoughts, enable us to take the initiative, and listen and support under all circumstances.
I have worked in many organizations of the Eczacıbaşı Group, where we had fun and experienced joy while working, and our ideas were heeded to; I have unforgettable memories. Based on my experience, I would say that working at the Eczacıbaşı Group means a unique culture. This culture, which stems from the trust evoked by the name Eczacıbaşı, is such a magical label that it seeps into your core from the moment you step into this workplace. You will be welcomed as a guest, be respected, and work at your job for many years, feel young, and never get old. You will feel thrilled to be a part of the Eczacıbaşı Group. So my advice for young members of the Eczacıbaşı Group is, “Live life at Eczacıbaşı, stay with Eczacıbaşı.”

Tüm dünya gibi pandeminin zorluklarına adapte olmaya çalışırken bir de İzmir’de deprem yaşadık. Bu olumsuzluklarla mücadele ederken bebeğimiz dünyaya geldi. Topluluğumuzun hayata geçirdiği babalık izni uygulaması sayesinde bu olumsuz zamanlarda ailemin yanında olabildim ve doğru kuruluşta çalıştığımı tekrar tekrar teyit ederek “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dedim.
While trying to adapt to the difficulties of the pandemic just like the rest of the world, we also experienced an earthquake in İzmir. While we were struggling with these obstacles, our baby was born. Thanks to the paternity leave practice implemented by our Group, I was able to be with my family in these adverse times and reaffirm that I am working in the right organization, which made me say “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

Bu durum, kendi kişisel gelişimimi artırmakla birlikte, Topluluğumuza doğrudan katkı sunabilme fırsatlarını da önüme seriyor. Bunun en güzel örneği, tüm detaylarında var olduğum ve kendi çabamın sonucunu direkt olarak gördüğüm “PH Cleaner” projesidir. Bu proje, işimde dahil olduğum ilk proje değil belki ama benim için hırsın, emeğin, çabanın, adanmışlığın, sonuç odaklılığın ve Topluluğumuza katkı sunmanın verdiği büyük motivasyon ve gururun ilk adımıdır. “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” demekten gurur duyuyorum.
In the department where I work, I get involved with tasks that require being open to innovations and improving my knowledge. While this supports my personal development, it also presents me with opportunities to contribute directly to our Group. The best example of this is the “PH Cleaner” project, in which I was involved with all the details, and I directly saw the results of my efforts. This project may not be the first project I have been involved in, but for me, it is the first step of the great motivation and pride of ambition, labor, dedication, being result-oriented, and contributing to our Group. I’m proud to say that “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

Bu geçen sekiz yılda dostluğun, bir ve birlik olmanın, yeri geldiğinde aile olmanın, yardımlaşmanın ne anlama geldiğini, zaferin ve başarmanın nasıl bir duygu olduğunu öğrendim. I am proud to enter my eighth year as of 2022 at the Eczacıbaşı Group, where I began working at the age of 17 as a high-school intern. In these past eight years, I have learned about friendship, coming together, at times being a family, helping each other, and what it feels like to be victorious and successful. 22 yıllık Eczacıbaşı İlaç Pazarlama çalışanı ve Eczacıbaşı Tigers taraftar grubu üyesiyim. 2019 yılı, mart ayında Tigers taraftar grubu olarak İzmir’de yapılan TVF Kupa Voley yarı final ve final maçlarına otobüs ile giderek Eczacıbaşı kadın voleybol takımımıza destek olmuş ve kupayı almıştık. Kulüp yönetimimizin jesti ile kupayı da yanımıza alarak aynı otobüs ile geri dönmek, kupa ile fotoğraf çektirmek unutulmaz ve gurur verici anlardı. Bu anımı her hatırladığımda, “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” diyorum.
I have been an Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceutical Marketing employee for 22 years, and I am a member of the Eczacıbaşı Tigers fan group. In March 2019, as the Tigers supporters group, we went to the TVF Cup Volley semi-final and final matches in İzmir by bus, supporting our Eczacıbaşı women's volleyball team and winning the cup. Taking the trophy with us, returning on the same bus, and having a photo taken with the award were unforgettable and proud moments, thanks to the thoughtful gesture of the club management. Every time I remember this moment, I say that “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

Topluluğumuzda 20. yılımı doldurdum. 20 yıl boyunca gurur duyduğum çok anım oldu. Beni en çok duygulandıran anımı paylaşmak istiyorum. 22 Nisan 2016 günü, adıma gönderilen kargoyu aldım. Poşeti açtığımda, İnsan Kaynaklarımızın oğlum adına bir zarf gönderdiğini gördüm. Çocukluğumdan beri çok değer verdiğim bir gün olan 23 Nisan’da bu zarfı oğlum ve eşim ile birlikte açtık. Gelen mektupta yazılanlar beni ve eşimi hem duygulandırdı, hem gururlandırdı. Bu mektubu sosyal medya hesabından paylaştığımda, dostlarımın yaptığı yorumlar harikaydı. Böylesine anlamlı bir günde, böyle ince bir düşünceyle beni gururlandıran Topluluğuma teşekkürlerimi iletmiş, bir kez daha, “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” demiştim.
I have completed my 20th year in our community. Over 20 years, I have had many memories that I am proud of. I want to share my most emotional moment. On April 22, 2016, I received a parcel sent to my name. When I opened the package, I saw that our Human Resources department had sent an envelope in my son's name. I opened this envelope with my son and my wife on April 23, a day that I have treasured since my childhood. What was written in the letter was touching and prideful for my wife and me. When I shared this letter on my social media account, my friends' comments were great. On such a momentous day, I had conveyed my thanks to the Group, which made me proud with such a considerate gesture, and once again, I said “I was thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group.”

It is challenging in today's world to work with an employer who values their employees and makes them feel good and happy in every aspect. If you work within the Eczacıbaşı Group, you always say “what a joy” regardless of your field. I hope to continue to serve here for many years. As a female employee and a mother of a three-and-a-half-year-old daughter, if I am still happy when I go home and wake up excited to go to work in the morning, thanks to the Eczacıbaşı Group managers and the opportunities they present. Ocak 2020’de, Bozüyük Eczacıbaşı Artema Fabrikası’nda sözleşmeli olarak işe başladığım ilk gün, sabah saatlerinde babamın ölüm haberini aldım. Ve o gün bana gösterilen ilgiyi gördükçe, “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” dedim. Fabrikamıza ait özel araçla evime kadar bırakıldım. Dört gün cenaze iznim verildi. Aynı gün maaş hesabıma, bir gün bile çalışmamış olmama rağmen cenaze yardımı ödemesi yapıldı. Kısacası, henüz hiçbir emeğim geçmemesine rağmen daha ilk günden büyüklüğünü ve desteğini arkamda hissettiğim için o gün bugündür gururla “İyi ki Eczacıbaşılıyım!” diyorum.
In January 2020, on the first day when I started working at the Bozüyük Eczacıbaşı Artema Factory under a contract, I received the news of my father's death earlier that morning. And as I experienced the attention shown to me that day, I said, “I’m so thrilled to be a part of the Eczacıbaşı group!” I was dropped off at home with a private car that belonged to the factory. I was granted four days off for the funeral. On the same day, although I had not even worked for a day, I received payment for funeral support in my deposit account. In short, although I had not labored at all, I felt the vastness and the support of the Eczacıbaşı Group, and since then, I say with pride, “I’m thrilled to be a member of the Eczacıbaşı Group!”
